Cookies & browser storage.
What the current preview stores on your device—and what it loads from elsewhere.
Local thread history
The workspace uses browser local storage under the key pplx_threads_v1 to remember up to 25 recent question-and-answer entries. This legacy key is an internal implementation detail. Data stays in that browser’s site storage until cleared or replaced by newer entries. It is not an account-sync feature.
Clear your saved threads
Open the workspace and choose Clear next to Library, or use your browser’s settings to clear site data for this origin. This affects local storage, not records retained by backend or third-party services.
Cookies
The landing pages added for this preview do not set application cookies or include an advertising or analytics script. This is not a blanket statement about the browser, reverse proxy, future deployment, or external services. Any additional cookies and tracking must be audited before public release.
External resources
Marketing pages load Google Fonts. The workspace also loads frontend resources from Tailwind’s CDN and cdnjs, and source favicons may load from external websites. These requests can transmit IP addresses and other connection metadata even without application cookies.
Your controls
You can block third-party resources or disable local storage in browser settings, although typography, styling, code highlighting, or saved history may then behave differently. No optional analytics consent toggle is shown because these new marketing pages have no optional analytics integration.
Before public launch
The operator must inventory the deployed site’s actual cookies, storage, and third-party requests, and implement any controls required for the intended audience.
Orion workspace storage
The workspace stores chats in orion.chats.v1, profile and preferences in orion.preferences.v1, and imported text sources in orion.sources.v1. Older pplx_threads_v1 history is migrated when no Orion history exists. Clear chats and delete sources in Settings; reset the profile to remove its name and photo. No authentication token is stored by these connectors.
